Curricula & Training Programs

IncludeU®

IncludeU® is an interactive bystander intervention program developed by faculty for faculty using research-backed methods for how best to intervene when a bias incident occurs. The program is web-based and self-paced and can be completed anytime, any place, and on any device.

Animated Scenarios depict realistic examples of bias incidents that occur on a daily basis when faculty get together casually or at meetings where they deliberate hiring and promotion and tenure decisions.

Innovators: Christine Shea and Kate Siler

Visit the IncludeU® website to learn more about the program or visit Elucid to purchase a non-exclusive license.

Energy

Converging Plasma Piston Magnetic Confinement System

A cost-effective magnetic confinement system with practical applications in neutron production, particle acceleration and thermonuclear fusion.  The converging plasma piston concept is based on the way space plasmas behave in the Heliosphere. Innovator: Dr. James Connell.
