The UNHInnovation Venture Studio is where UNH intellectual property (IP) transitions from innovative ideas to revenue-generating ventures. Through tailored support, the studio advances IP by fostering commercialization within the originating innovator.

UNH is rich with intellectual property (IP) assets and departments that actively engage with companies and institutions to generate revenue. However, these creators and their teams—spread across the Research organization and various colleges—share common needs for support, mentorship, and streamlined systems.

The Venture Studio creates a unified home for these IP assets, reducing duplication of effort and building centralized practices and systems that all independent units can leverage for greater impact.

Our Mission: Driving Commercialization of IP

The mission of the UNHInnovation Venture Studio is to empower UNH innovators by providing the mentorship, systems, and practices needed to grow their ventures. The studio aims to reshape the approach to innovation within the UNH community, maximizing the impact of this work on both the university and the broader region.
