Head of Innovation at UNH Selected as Chair-Elect of AUTM

Marc Sedam, associate vice provost for innovation and new ventures at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) and managing director of UNHInnovation, has been selected as the chair-elect of AUTM, the leading international association supporting the commercialization of academic research. The position is a three-year term on the AUTM Executive Committee and matriculates to the chair position (currently held by Richard Chylla of Michigan State University) at the conclusion of the 2020 AUTM Annual Meeting in San Diego. AUTM's "Put a Face On It" Video Grant

At the beginning of this year, our office applied for and received a small grant offered by the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) called the Put a Face on It Video Program. The funds from the award could be used to create a short video that would help enhance awareness of the value of university-based innovations by showcasing the people who have directly benefited from them. We knew right away that we wanted to dedicate our video to UNH’s first nonprofit startup organization, Operation Hat Trick (OHT). Read More

UNHI Licensing Manager Tim Benoit-Ledoux will be cohosting a session titled “Social Innovation and Enterprise: No Patents Required” at the 2015 AUTM Eastern Region Meeting on August 31st.
