On December 8th, 2020, UNH hosted “Keeping Campus Safe - University-Wide COVID Testing,” a panel discussion about keeping campuses open and communities safe during the current pandemic. Nature Groupie's Kickstarter Campaign a Success!

This Fall, a team of entrepreneurs from UNH Cooperative Extension’s Nature Groupie ran a successful Kickstarter campaign, raising over $22K from over 270 backers in less than 30 days. The Kickstarter campaign was used to launch a new brand called Nature Groupie Gear, which sells products such as t-shirts, mugs and sweatshirts. UNH Receives SBA Grant to Help New Hampshire Small Businesses

UNH has received a $125,000 grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration, one of 24 organizations awarded grants aimed at aiding small businesses, particularly those that are women-owned, rural-based and socially-economically disadvantaged. The funding comes from the SBA’s Federal and State Technology (FAST) Partnership program, which seeks to improve outcomes in the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. Report ranks UNH high in turning research into social and economic impact

UNH is the sixth most productive mid-sized university in the U.S. at converting research funding into economic impact, according to a recent report released by the George W. Bush Institute and the Opus Faveo Innovation Development consulting firm. UNH ranked just behind Princeton and Carnegie Mellon universities in the mid-sized category and ranked in the top 100 of all U.S. universities for innovation impact regardless of size or research budget.
