UNHInnovation (UNHI) is pleased to share that Marc Eichenberger, Director of Corporate Engagement at UNHI, has agreed to serve as Interim Associate Vice Provost for Innovation and New Ventures and Managing Director of UNHI.

Marc has been Director of Corporate Engagement at UNHI since 2019, facilitating relationships between corporations and university partners, resources and facilities. In this role, he oversees the NH Innovation Research Center (NHIRC), providing grants to fund corporate research in conjunction with the university. He is principal investigator for FOSTER, a grant that provides resources, training and funding to New Hampshire small businesses to assist with SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) and STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer) proposals. He’s also the co-principal investigator for the National Institutes for Health DRIVEN grant, a biomedical entrepreneurship accelerator program.

With decades of prior experience in intellectual property (IP) commercialization and management consulting, Marc brings a wealth of knowledge in bridging the corporate and university ecosystems, IP commercialization and business development. He is sure to help UNHI maintain momentum while the university prepares to conduct a national search for the position.
