June is Technology Transfer Month!

This spring, the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Research sent out a survey to UNH faculty seeking feedback on how well the office and its individual units currently support the research community. The results of the survey provided insight into areas that are working well and also areas where the research office could do more to help faculty reach their research goals.

Rise to the 603 Challenge and Support UNHInnovation - See Your Gift Matched!

SAVE THE DATE! The 603 Challenge starts Sunday, June 3rd at 12 PM and ends Friday, June 8th at 6 PM ET. This online-only challenge is an annual fundraising campaign that offers alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends the chance to make a gift to the area(s) that are most meaningful to them at UNH. Thanks to a generous group of donors underwriting the challenge, these gifts are matched up to $150 per donor until the pool of $150,000 in matching funds runs out.

The Connectivity Research Center Hosted Second Annual Smart Gadget Competition

The UNH Connectivity Research Center (Connectivity) recently hosted the second annual Smart Gadget Competition at UNHInnovation. This one-day event brought together UNH students, faculty, and industry to identify and solve a problem on campus using “smart” sensors and LoRaWAN, an Internet of Things wireless technology.

Welcoming Cassie Simmons and Andrew Schmid to UNHI

UNHInnovation (UNHI) has worked with the UNH School of Law since 2010 to bring law school student interns into our office to gain technology transfer experience within a higher education setting.

This year, we are very pleased to welcome Cassie Simmons and Andrew Schmid to the office. Andrew and Cassie started on June 2, 2014 and will work with us over the course of the next year. Both interns have just completed their 1L year (first year of law school).
