Nature Groupie

Nature Groupie's goal is to make it easy to volunteer for nature. Over 200 conservation organizations in New England post their volunteer experiences on the Nature Groupie website. In 2018, over 5,100 volunteers had signed up to clean rivers, restore wildlife habitats, maintain trails, plant trees, and participate in science research.

Nature Groupie was started as a collaborative project between UNH Cooperative Extension and The Stewardship Network (TSN) in the Great Lakes. In 2018, they changed their name to Nature Groupie to capture the energy, connection, and spirit of volunteering for nature of their New England network.

UNHInnovation has been working with Nature Groupie to secure trademarks for their branding, which the organization hopes to use to sell branded merchandise as a way of gaining the financial sustainability to grow and expand.
